教育目標

This course teaches you how the modern financial world works and how companies use these concepts to make big decisions—like whether to fund a new project, how to value a stock, or where to raise money. Over the semester, you'll tackle four main topics: First, you'll get a handle on the basics of the financial system and how to calculate the value of money over time. Next, you'll learn how to put a price tag on financial products like stocks, bonds, and options. Then, you'll dive into how to measure risk using math models to build the best possible investment portfolio. Finally, you'll bring it all together by applying these tools to real-world corporate decisions, managing budgets and company risks.
