教育目標

This course introduces the fundamental concepts of calculus, including functions, limits, derivatives, and integrals, while strengthening students' mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills. Emphasis is placed on understanding graphical, numerical, and analytical representations of mathematical relationships and applying calculus concepts to sustainability-related contexts such as population growth, resource consumption, environmental change, and renewable energy systems. Through lectures, problem-solving activities, homework assignments, quizzes, and a mini-project, students will develop the quantitative skills needed for further study in sustainability science.
